Ken Thorpe is a successful entrepreneur and business consultant with more than 15 years of professional leadership experience in the areas of business development, strategic planning and relationship management.
He's always been a person full of new and innovative ideas, implementing one of them in 1998 when he started his first company, Thorpe & Associates, LLC.
Jeresther Thorpe-Page is an Indianapolis native. She is currently living in Cincinnati, Ohio where she is the Principal of Heritage Hill Elementary School in Princeton City Schools District. Jeresther has had the opportunity to teach and serve as school and district leader in Texas, Pennsylvania, and Colorado as well. She is a graduate of Warren Central High School '92, received her undergraduate degree from Butler University and graduate degrees from The University of Texas, Austin.
Kennette Farthing is a successful family life educator, an independent child care consultant and small business owner, with more than 18 years of experience in the field of early childhood development. She is passionate about building strong family ties among the underserved population and is a strong advocate of children. Along with being a wife and the mother of three, Kennette is a certified American Red Cross Instructor and the owner of Pharaoh’s Catering & 3 Sweet Treats. Kennette earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Indiana University.
Eugene L. Murray worked as a Mechanical and Quality Engineer for over 17 years at Rolls-Royce and Raytheon. However, after 17 years, he decided to follow his passion and leave the "traditional" corporate world to establish a new career in education. In 2011, he joined EdPower a nonprofit education management organization as the Director of Accountability. EdPower currently operates three schools – Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School, Arlington High School, and Tindley Preparatory Academy with plans to open three additional schools next fall. At EdPower, Eugene is responsible for establishing data and metric systems for organization to continually improve the educational outcomes for the students. His work supports both administration and teachers.
A native of Detroit Michigan, Harrington moved to Indiana to pursue a career with Eli Lilly and Company after graduating from Howard University, with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. She has over 20 years of corporate experience in the areas of manufacturing, engineering, human resources, information technology, diversity and procurement. Holli also served as a Lilly Executive-On-Loan with the National Society of Black Engineers in Alexandria, VA, and led Lilly's Supplier Diversity Development program for eight years.
